Business Spark 2026, the 2nd All-Island Business Idea Competition—one of the flagship events of the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, organized in collaboration with Middleway Ventures—is reaching its most exciting moment.

After a rigorous three-round selection process, four exceptional teams have been shortlisted to present their innovative business ideas at the Grand Finale. Their concepts will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, with the winning team receiving a seed investment of LKR 2 million, along with mentorship and execution support to turn their vision into reality.
This is more than a competition—it’s a platform where ideas evolve into impactful ventures and the future of entrepreneurship takes shape.
