Master of Applied Finance (MAF)

The Master of Applied Finance (MAF) is specifically designed to equip postgraduate students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to thrive in the financial services industry. The course offered in MAF will discuss contemporary issues in the financial markets with a pragmatic and analytical approach.

Objectives of MAF

  1. To provide students with comprehensive and contemporary knowledge in a practical approach.
  2. To inculcate essential skills and competencies to climb up the career ladder in the financial services industry.
  3. To develop finance professionals with the analytical skills and knowledge aiming to contribute to the financial services industry in both local and international contexts.

Duration:- one academic year (trimesters with four months duration each)

Programme structure:- 

  • Trimester I – Four (04) courses
  • Trimester II – Five (05) Courses
  • Trimester III – Three (03) Courses with an independent study
