Personal Tutor Programme 2024
A personal tutor’s role is to review and support a student’s personal, academic, and career development. An awareness session on the role of a Personal Tutor was organized for all the personal tutors of the Faculty on February 15th, 2024. Resource person was Dr. Rajitha Silva, Senior Student Counsellor of University of Colombo.
Staff Development Workshop for New Academic Staff – 2024
The Faculty of Management and Finance is hosting workshops for new academic staff in 2024. The first two sessions have already taken place successfully. Dr. Dinuka Wijetunga conducted a session on developing arguments in writing research papers and dissertations, while Senior Professor H. N. Prabhath Jayasinghe conducted a session on selecting journals for publication.
