Awards Ceremony of the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Human Resource Management, and Certificate Course in HR Analytics – June 2026

The Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, proudly hosted the Awards Ceremony for the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (HDHRM), Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM), and Certificate Course in HR Analytics (CHRA) on 5th June 2026 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo.

The ceremony commenced at 1.30 p.m. and was graced by several distinguished guests, including Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo;  Mrs. Sanjeevani Perera, Registrar of the University of Colombo ; Professor Nihal Hennayake, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance; and Dr. Rajitha Silva, Head of the Department of Human Resources Management. Heads of Departments, academic staff members, diplomates, certificate holders, and their families were also present to celebrate this significant occasion.

The ceremony recognized the academic achievements of 242 diplomats who successfully completed the Diploma in Human Resource Management (both onsite and online programmes), 43 diplomates who completed the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management, and 10 participants who successfully completed the Certificate Course in HR Analytics.

The event marked a significant milestone in the academic and professional journeys of the award recipients, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of Human Resource Management.

The Department of Human Resources Management extends its heartfelt congratulations to all diplomats and certificate holders on their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
