The World Asian Case Competition 2020 – “How Asian Brands Soar”

Ten student teams from the Faculty of Management and Finance submitted proposals for The World Asian Case Competition 2020 – “How Asian Brands Soar” – a case writing competition organized by the Academy of Asian Business, based in South Korea. All our ten teams were selected for the final round of competition where they had to submit a 25 – 30-page case write up on an Asian business case. Of this, nine teams submitted the full case write up. 

The case submitted by team “Value Adders” was selected as one of the top 10 cases received for the competition. This team was advised by Ms Thilini Alahakoon. This case on Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts titled “Cinnamon’s Rise from the Ashes” is now published in How Asian Brands Soar 6, as a softcover book in Amazon at
