FMF Golden Speech 2026- Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo

The Faculty of Management and Finance (FMF), University of Colombo, is pleased to announce the FMF Golden Speech 2026, the Faculty’s flagship annual inspirational event, which will be held on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the New Auditorium, West Wing Building.

This year’s Golden Speech will be delivered by Ms. Chethana Liyanage, Chief Talent Officer of the Capital Maharaja Group and Chief Executive Officer of the Maharaja Institute of Management. A distinguished corporate leader with extensive experience in talent management, leadership, and organizational development, Ms. Liyanage will share valuable insights on personal growth, leadership, and preparing for the future of work.

The FMF Golden Speech has become one of the Faculty’s signature annual events, bringing together undergraduate students, postgraduate students, alumni, academics, and industry partners on a single platform to exchange ideas, inspire future leaders, and strengthen the connection between academia and industry. The event typically attracts an audience of around 700 participants, making it one of the largest and most anticipated professional development programmes organized by the Faculty.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Management and Finance continues its commitment to nurturing graduates who possess not only academic excellence but also the leadership qualities, professional competencies, and mindset required to thrive in an increasingly dynamic global environment.
