What Next: The Career Expo 2026- FMF UOC

The Faculty of Management and Finance (FMF), University of Colombo, is gearing up for its Career Fair 2026, scheduled to be held on 08th May 2026 at the Faculty premises.

With over 70 leading companies already registered and more than 700 students expected to participate, this year’s Career Fair marks one of the largest industry engagement platforms organized by the Faculty. The event aims to provide students with valuable opportunities to connect with potential employers, explore career pathways, and secure internships and employment.

Preparatory activities are currently underway, with stall setup and coordination taking place on 06th and 07th May, ensuring that all arrangements are in place for a successful event. The Career Fair itself will run from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 08th May, followed by post-event activities.

The success of this initiative is made possible through the collective efforts of academic and non-academic staff, the Career Guidance Unit (CGU), Rotaract Club, industry partners, and students. The Faculty extends its appreciation to all stakeholders for their continued support and commitment.

FMF remains dedicated to strengthening industry collaboration and enhancing student employability through initiatives such as the Career Fair, reaffirming its role in preparing graduates for the dynamic world of work.
