Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM) 2024/25 Online Programme Inauguration Ceremony

The inauguration ceremony of the 3rd intake of the DHRM online programme was held on the 27th of September 2024, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm via Zoom. Dr Rajitha Silva, acting head of the Department of Human Resources Management welcomed all the invitees to the programme. Prof. Nihal Hennayake, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The keynote address of the event was delivered by Prof. (Chair) Arosha S. Adikaram, Chair Professor of the Department of Human Resource Management, University of Colombo.

The event was attended by the lecturers who facilitate the DHRM programme, alongside faculty members, non-academic staff, and other dignitaries from the Faculty of Management and Finance. During the program, Mr. Nilanka Perera, a Computer Instructor of the Faculty, provided an orientation to the newly enrolled students on the Learning Management System (LMS). The programme structure was explained by Mr. Isuru Chandradasa, Coordinator of the DHRM programme. The event was hosted by Arfa Abdeen, an exceptional undergraduate of the Department of HRM, showcasing her talent and professionalism throughout the ceremony.

The academic activities for Trimester I of this programme will commence on September 28th, 2024, coinciding with the final trimester exams of the previous DHRM 2023/24 online programme. This reflects our strong commitment and dedication to ensuring the timely completion of the programme.
