Sindhu Handawa : An Enchanting Evening of Rain, Rhythm, and University Memories

“Sindhu Handawa: A mesmerizing evening wrapped in the romance of the rain and the magic of music…”

Hosted by the first-year batch of the FMF Music Circle at the University of Colombo, “Sindhu Handawa” has officially etched itself as one of the most cherished memories of our university life.

Even though the skies turned gloomy and a chilly rain swept across the grounds, the atmosphere was magical. Pairing the cold breeze with hot cups of plain tea, the warmth of close friends, and soul-stirring melodies created an indescribable, ultimate vibe that words can barely capture!

The FMF first-year music band blended harmonious notes effortlessly, wrapping the rainy evening in a comforting musical embrace and gifting everyone an unforgettable evening.

This success belongs to many. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance University of Colombo, our Music Circle Academic Advisor Mr. Venuka Batagoda, our incredible second-, third-, and fourth-year seniors who stood by us as a pillar of strength, and our very own first-year batch for uniting to conquer this massive milestone.

A special note of appreciation goes out to our phenomenal audience-who ignored the cold rain, gathered around our stage, and cheered us on with unwavering energy!

Blended with the rain, this melodious Sindhu Handawa will forever remain an immortalized chapter in our university memory book!
