FMF Mandawa: A New Stage for Dreams and Memories

An Evening of Celebration, Creativity, and New Beginnings

On 17 July 2026, the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, celebrated a remarkable milestone with the grand opening of the FMF Mandawa Open Theatre. Nestled beneath a canopy of mature trees, this beautiful new space promises to become a vibrant hub for creativity, collaboration, and unforgettable university memories.

The opening ceremony came alive with music, singing, dance, and cultural performances that reflected the diverse talents and vibrant spirit of the FMF community. More than just an open theatre, the Mandawa represents a shared vision of bringing students together through learning, leadership, and artistic expression.

The occasion also marked the launch of the FMF Performance-Based Scholarship Programme, made possible through the generous support of the BBA Alumni Association. This initiative celebrates student excellence while encouraging future leaders to reach their full potential.
