About Doctoral Colloquium 2023
The ‘Doctoral Colloquium 2023’ is organized in parallel with the 18th International Research Conference on Management and Finance (IRCMF 2023). This is a unique interactive platform designed for PhD, DBA and MPhil students to present their work-in-progress to a wider audience of academics, receive expert comments from a scholarly panel, and to network with fellow doctoral students and academics.
We invite doctoral students to submit their ongoing research in any form of concept paper, literature review, and preliminary findings.
(primarily held as an onsite event and only the overseas presenters will get the opportunity to present virtually)
Highlights of the Event
- Keynote Speech: by Emeritus Professor Tudor Silva (PhD, Monash University, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka
- The Précis Competition: This is a research communication competition organized as a part of ‘Doctoral Colloquium 2023’. Contestants will have to give an elevator pitch on their thesis and its significance within a few minutes. The winners will be selected by an expert panel based on the effectiveness of communicating the research idea to the audience.
- Student Presentations: Students will be given opportunity to present their research in progress to a scholarly audience and receive valuable comments & feedback by an expert panel.
